myKWS: when innovations connect
As #YourSeedPartner, KWS not only supports customers with high-performance seed and advice across crops but also offers extensive digital services with myKWS. The platform provides precise cultivation recommendations, fieldspecific advice and digital farming solutions for all phases of the harvest year. That allows our varieties to develop their full potential. An important factor that we are continuing to drive forward is compatibility with other digital applications such as the John Deere Operations Center™.

Award-winning: the myKWS dashboard
Thanks to a new dashboard, myKWS is even more user-friendly: The platform’s homepage can now be tailored to individual needs and displays content that perfectly matches the season, farm and field, including weather data, soil analyses or market data, for example. And it won us both the iF Design Award 2024 and the Green Good Design Award.
Sometimes, a view from above reveals what remains hidden to the naked eye. A quick check on the smartphone shows that it’s the perfect time for sowing corn. With just a few clicks, a site-specific seed map is created and sent to the tractor. Shortly after, the machine is set in motion with the right settings – and satellite-based insights are transformed into efficient measures in the field.
Connectivity as a plus
In modern agriculture, machines and products from different manufacturers are used on many farms, along with different digital platforms. To reduce manual effort and create synergies, it is important for these systems to work seamlessly together. This is exactly where the new interface between myKWS and the John Deere Operations Center™ comes in: It enables data and work orders to be transmitted directly from the platform to agricultural machinery from John Deere, a leading manufacturer that can be found on many farms. That makes it even easier to implement crop management recommendations from the app.

More efficiency through more precise data
Making farmers’ daily work easier is also the aim of our cooperation with the leading international fertilizer
manufacturer YARA. Users can use the myKWS vitality check tool to keep an eye on the health of their plant stocks at all times, with satellite images and precise biomass indices providing valuable insights into the vitality of their crops. Thanks to the collaboration with YARA, we were able to further improve the functionality of the tool, so farmers now have access to optimized maps to analyze vegetation differences in the plant stock and nitrogen uptake. On this basis, plant devel-opment can be reliably assessed up to the late growth phases, and fertilization measures planned with even greater precision – ensuring high resource efficiency and helping plants reach their full potential.
